Gravity pumps water in the High Lifter Water Pump System. It is the "without electricity water pump” which operates on the principle of the Hydraulic Lever, discovered by Blaise Pascal in 1640. The energy comes your spring, creek, or pond, which must be located above the pump. It has many advantages over a ram pump. It is quiet and automatically restarts itself if there is an interruption in the water source. It can operate on very low flows and can pump over 1000 feet Total Lift. Also it doesn’t need a big, heavy, steel drive Pipe. Ordinary 3/4” black poly pipe will work fine in most instances. It is designed for residential and agricultural use. The output depends on a combination of Fall and Net Lift, The average is 200 to 740 gallons per day for the for the 9:1 model, and 400 to 1500 gallons per day for the 4.5:1 model.
