The Grundfos SQFlex Submersible Pump is the proven solution for providing water for homesteaders, ranchers, preppers, or anyone living off the grid who needs to pump from wells or tanks.
The 6 SQF-3 is a 3 inch helical pump which is best for wells with water levels that are between 300 and 800 feet deep. Its optimum output range is from 1,500 to 3,000 gallons per day depending on the water depth and the number of solar panels. It has a 1 inch NPT outlet, measures 51" x 3.9", and weighs 18 lbs.

Grundfos SQFlex Solar Water Pump features:
- Choose from 11 models with pumping capabilities from 40,000 gallons per day from 25 feet deep to 1000 gallons per day from 800 feet deep.
- SQFlex models 3SQF through 11SQF are "helical" pumps and will fit into a 3" well.
- SQFlex models16SQF through 60SQF are "centrifugal" pumps and will fit into a 4" well.
- These versatile pumps can be powered by solar panels, generators, or grid power. They have built-in inverter circuitry which allows them to run on either Direct Current 30 to 300 VDC, or Alternating Current 90 to 270 VAC.
- The pump can be connected directly to the power source, whether it's AC or DC, and no external voltage converter box is required.
- The SQFlex has built-in protection from dry-running, overloading, and overheating.
- The optional CU-200 control and monitoring box provides an on-off switch, power consumption meter, pump status lights, and a terminal for a low-current float switch in the fill tank.
- Submersible Pump Cable 10 gauge 2 conductor with ground is recommended in the well for most applications, though you may need 8 gauge in some situations to reduce line loss. See the Submersible Cable Size Chart.
- SQFlex pumps have a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. A 5-year extended warranty is available.
To run the SQFlex directly from solar panels, connect it to two to six 250 watt solar modules. Typically the pump will fill an open tank which gravity feeds to your home.
To run the SQFlex from a battery bank, if you need to keep a tank pressurized, see Grundfos SQFlex Battery Operated Pump Guide.
