Product Description

SORRY, NO LONGER AVAILABLE. PLEASE CALL THAD AT 707-923-2109 FOR ALTERNATIVES. Linear Current Booster (LCB) pump controllers are DC power converters which are designed to be an interface between a DC solar pump and solar panels. These controllers will increase the pump output up to 30% by matching the output of the solar panels to the needs of the pump, and by "kick-starting" the pump earlier in the day when the sun is weaker. Thus, the pump will run for longer hours at higher output. It will also preventing stalling of the motor under less than full sun condition. It will protect the pump from over voltage and over current conditions. It also provides terminals for a float switch, which can be used to turn off the pump when the tank is full. For a pump controller that has low water shutoff electrodes, see the 902-200 Pump Controller.

This pump controller can run on a 12 or 24 volt solar array, and it has a maximum output of 30 amps. To prevent voiding the warranty, please make sure your pump does not draw more than 30 amps.

Features:

  • Current boosting for matching the load requirements of the pump
  • Voltage limiting for pump protection
  • Prevents stalling of the motor under insufficient light conditions. The pump will not come on until light is sufficient, and will turn off if light becomes insufficient later in the day.
  • Remote float switch circuit (float switch sold separately)
  • One year limited warranty
