Thad's Tip: How to Splice Submersible Pump Cable

For Wire Splice and Repair Kit with adhesive melt tubing and connectors

Instructions:

A heat source is required such a propane torch or a blow dryer
Slip tubing over wire
Crimp connectors onto wires
Center tubing over connnector and apply heat, beginning at the center and working towards the ends. If you are using a blowtorch, be careful not to burn the tubing. Keep the torch flame moving.
The seal is complete when the tubing shrinks to fit tightly onto the wire, and sealant flows from the end of the tubing.
